LIVE EVENT PREPARATION, INSTRUCTIONS & TIPS
How Will it Work?
For an idea of how the online event platform works, please watch this short video and read this guide.
Presentations
The digital program closely aligns with the traditional EWTS conference in terms of content (the actual sessions).
Just like the in-person event, EWTS Everywhere is a live, produced show with specific start and end times for presentations and activities.
All speakers will record their presentations in advance of the conference.
During the event, recorded presentations will be livestreamed at the scheduled times, followed by live Q&A. Following the Q&A, presentations will be made available on-demand for attendees.
Exhibition
To simulate the traditional EWTS Expo, we’ve scheduled dedicated times – during which there are no presentations – for you to explore the Exhibitor Zone and interact with exhibitors.
Of course, you can explore the Exhibitor Zone at any time during the event for on-demand information. During the LIVE expo hours, you’ll be able to watch live product demos and interact with exhibitor staff in real time.
Networking
In addition to formalized networking activities scheduled throughout the event, attendees will have access to a number of platform tools for making relevant contacts, including profile matchmaking, advanced search, multiple ways to chat, easy contact information exchange, and more.
This format will allow everyone to take advantage of the virtual and distributed nature of a digital conference, across multiple time zones, and still have meaningful person-to-person engagement.
A typical conference day for an attendee might look like this:
Log into the EWTS Everywhere platform, the home page for participating in the conference learning, networking, and exhibition.
Watch live-streamed sessions for cutting-edge content around the business and industrial applications of AR/VR and wearables, including case studies and group panel discussions featuring leading enterprise practitioners.
Participate in live Q&A with speakers following each session.
Check out on-demand content whenever you like.
Post in the Main Feed, join the universal Public Chat, and chat directly with others using a variety of platform features. ‘Bump’ into other attendees in the Networking Lounge and take part in a variety of activities to discover and connect with like-minded professionals.
Visit the Exhibitor Zone to see the largest vetted collection of enterprise-ready solutions. Dive into the individual exhibitors' booths, where you can speak directly with staff and explore all that’s on offer.

On live event days, attendees will follow that link and log into the platform to participate in the conference proceedings.
Once signed into the platform, you will be directed to the Home Lobby, from where you’ll be able to explore all the event offerings.
Example Schedule
Here's what your day could look like during the live event.
For the purposes of this example, assume the opening keynote presentation starts at 9:00am.
Tips
To help you have a great conference experience and gain the most ROI, we’ve come up with the following suggestions for all attendees:
Before the Conference
Familiarize yourself with the event platform and get comfortable using its features.
Come up with a list of questions you’re looking for answers to and refer to the Agenda to determine which sessions could help. Add those sessions to your personal agenda, which can be found in the dropdown menu under your profile icon.
Do some speaker research to come up with a list of presenters you’d like to talk to.
Create a list of people you would like to connect with using the platform’s networking tools.
Do some research around the solution providers to come up with a list of exhibitors you definitely want to meet.
During the Conference
Write down at least one key takeaway from each session or conversation.
Actively participate in sessions and conversations so the information really sticks.
Post, comment and share your thoughts and takeaways for collective feedback.
Take notes about who you speak with, what they do and what they said.
After the Conference
Return to work with answers to your questions and a list of actionable next steps.
Share what you learned with your team.
Follow up with everyone you met during the event.
