Brent Blum leads day-to-day operations of Accenture’s Wearable Technology practice including oversight of R&D, business development, sales, delivery and thought leadership. Prior to starting Accenture’s Wearable Technology practice, Brent managed wearables R&D within Accenture Technology Labs and led the development of a ground-breaking Google Glass medical proof of concept with Philips. Brent began his career at IBM as a systems architect before joining Accenture in 2004, becoming a product manager with a focus in consumer-based social and mobile products. His experience spans both startups and the world’s biggest, most recognized brands.

Brent co-authored a patent on Augmented Reality Safety Glasses and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Information Systems and Psychology from Wake Forest University.
