Dr. Peter R Chai is an Emergency Medicine Physician and Medical Toxicologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He is a graduate of the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University where he also did his residency in Emergency Medicine.

After completing his fellowship in medical toxicology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Dr. Chai has continued to conduct research at the intersection of technology and health. He has adapted techniques in ingestible biosensors to develop digital pill technology for medication adherence, augmented reality (Google Glass) for remote location telemedicine, music interventions for pain and drone technology for disaster assessment. His current research focuses on technology-based, sensor free innovations that seamlessly integrate into patient lives.
