Scott is focused on key technologies that will deliver change, including leading CDM Smith’s efforts to utilize the transparently immersive experiences of mixed reality. CDM Smith is an early innovator in the area of mixed reality for Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) and engaged Object Theory, a full-service mixed reality experience agency, in a custom software development contract that resulted in the world’s first mixed reality collaboration platform.
CDM Smith’s Mixed Reality Collaboration Platform helps the firm design and build solutions for clients by allowing people to experience shared holographic material anywhere in the world. The firm believes that an immersive mixed reality experience is the next logical step in taking 3D models off a 2D computer screen and integrating digital content into the physical world.
Scott is based out of Raleigh, NC and has 25 years of experience exploiting emerging digital workplace technologies and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science.
