Carl Rytych

Innovation Leader


Carl is an engineer with a passion for efficiency and educating others, currently working on Exelon’s Digital Plant Innovation Team. He started with Exelon in 2014 at Clinton Power Station in Systems Engineering. While at Clinton, he was active with equipment troubleshooting and re-establishment of the equipment monitoring software PRiSM. He received the Exelon NAYGN West Public Information Award in 2015. At the Exelon Innovation Expo 2018 he received 1st place in the Investigation and Implementation category for the “Virtual Plant Initiative” project, creating a Virtual Reality model of R.E. Ginna Power Station. Prior to working at Exelon, he obtained an MS and BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois. In his spare time, he is also an avid board gamer.
