With one runway, SAN flies 50,000 people each day; operations have to be extremely efficient. Partnering with Spark Compass, SAN developed a smart IT solution: Once a dispatcher enters a ticket, the nearest technician is notified; that tech accepts the issue, submits an estimated ETA, and taps “finish” the work is completed. It’s all easy, one-touch steps, reports can be entered with voice recognition, and everything updates to the back-end system in real time; helping to get planes out on time.
