Brett is a Senior IT Analyst at Erie Insurance focused on emerging technology patterns, anticipating industry disruptors, and developing Erie Insurance’s innovation and R&D capabilities. Brett was part of a team that explored the advantages of wearable technology, which led to the insurance industry’s first implementation of live video streaming for remote risk inspections using wearable technology. He has run experiments on multiple insurance use cases for wearables and worked with several of the mainstream devices currently available including the Explorer Edition and Enterprise Edition of Google Glass. More recently, Brett has been working with artificial intelligence and presented the results of an insurance underwriting proof of concept at IBM’s World of Watson in 2016.
