Jeremy Sloan is a senior software engineer with Erie Insurance Group, specializing in test automation. Over the past 3 years, he has helped to drive the testing of 2 different R&D experiments that were focused on the use of Google Glass for claims documentation and risk control inspections, respectively. The first experiment involved the use of the Explorer Edition of Glass as a hands-free camera, while the second used the Enterprise Edition of Glass and Upskill’s Eyesight product as a platform for hands-free video calls. He brings two decades of quality control experience to the role, including 17 years of software testing, quality assurance, and technical writing experience across all facets of property-casualty and life insurance. Prior to his work in the insurance industry, he led several quality inspection teams for an electronic components distributor.
