  • Complimentary Speaker Registration: As a speaker, you have access to all event sessions, networking functions, exhibit activities, and meals on each day of the conference. BrainXchange has already registered you for the show, so there is no further action required on your part. 

  • Complimentary Colleague Registrations: As a speaker, you are entitled to bring along interested colleagues working with emerging technologies. Please contact Zach Bloomgarden if you would like guest passes for your colleagues.

  • Discounted Referral Passes: All speakers are entitled to share a discount code for 15% off tickets to peers and partners who might be interested in attending. Please contact Zach Bloomgarden if you would like a unique speaker discount code.

Discounted Hotel Room Block Rate - BrainXchange has secured a group room block rate at the Town & Country Hotel, which is $195 USD per night, plus taxes. The rate covers room nights from 10/19/2020 to 10/21/2020. Your group rates will be honored for your attendees three (3) days before group arrival and three (3) days after group departure based on availability.

Hotel Room Block Cut-Off Date: The discounted hotel room block rate expires on Monday, September 28th, 2020.

Meeting & Event Space:
EWTS will be occupying the entire Meeting & Event space at the Town and Country San Diego for the duration of the conference. All the event proceedings and official conference activities will take place in this space. 

Meeting & Event Space Locations to Note:

  • Registration and Badge Pickup is located at the entrance foyer to the main stage
  • The Speaker Ready Room is located to the left of registration, adjacent to the Main Stage
  • The Main Stage is located to the left of registration, adjacent to the Main Stage
  • Breakout sessions will take place inside the Red, Purple, Yellow, and Green rooms north of the main entrance
  • The Exhibition Hall can be found south of the main entrance.
  • All meals and refreshments will be served on the exhibition floor in the Exhibition Hall

Onsite Speaker Arrival Instructions

Panel Speakers:

1. When you arrive, please proceed to the Speaker Registration Desk located at the entrance foyer to pick up your name badge and other conference materials (Ex. t-shirt and workbook). 

2. On the back side of your name badge you will find your Speaker Information Card which outlines the date, time, and room assignment for your talk. 

3. Please make note which stage and/or room you are assigned to present in ahead of time.

4. Please arrive to the back of your assigned room (where the AV desk is stationed) 30 minutes before the start of your scheduled session to get a microphone from the AV team and wait with your other group members at the foot of the stage to be introduced.

*Clothing Attire: We recommend dressing business casual. Parts of the event will be recorded so we suggest wearing bright colors to stand out against the backdrop. If you are planning on wearing a dress or skirt, we recommend wearing tights (the stage is raised), and a belt for the mic pack.

Moderators:

2. On the back of your badge, you will find a Speaker Information Card outlining the date, time and room assignment for your talk.

3. Please note your stage and/or room assignment ahead of time.

4. If you have any audio-visual needs or would like to test your slides onsite at the conference, please check into the Speaker Ready Room adjacent to the stage, where a technician will be able to assist you.

5. If you would like to do a dry-run onstage before your scheduled talk, please contact Zach Bloomgarden in advance to coordinate a time during one of the scheduled program breaks. 

6. Please arrive at the back of your assigned room (where the AV desk is stationed) 30 minutes before the start of your scheduled session to:
• Meet the chair who will introduce you to the audience
• Get a microphone/clicker from the AV team
• Wait at the foot of the stage to be introduced
